The Lake Talbot Lookout provides a scenic view of Lake Talbot, the main irrigation canal, and the surrounding nature reserve. Walking tracks commence from the lookout and continue around the lake. Lake Talbot itself is an artificial lake, located only 1.5 kilometres from the town centre, which is ideal for boating, canoeing and water skiing.
